The Nixon-Ruby connection

Jack Ruby and Richard Nixon

Above you can see a detail of a FBI-document that caused much commotion, to say the least. Written on November 24, 1947, it states: “It is my sworn statement that one Jack Rubenstein of Chicago, noted as a potentional witness for hearing of the House Committee on Un-American Activities, is performing information functions for the staff of Congressman Richard Nixon, Republican of California. It is requested that Rubenstein not be called for open testimony in the aformentioned hearings.” Find the complete image of the document here.

Soon after ’47 Jack Rubenstein moved to Dallas, where he changed his name to Jack Ruby. On November 24, 1963, exactly sixteen years after the above memo was typed, he murdered Lee Harvey Oswald in the basement of Dallas Police Headquarters.

A false document?
The header of the documents reads ‘This is sensitive’. According to the Warren Commission, Jack Ruby had no connections with Oswald, organized crime or the government. Conspiracy buffs know why this document is called sensitive: the government clearly had something to hide. There are on the other hand skeptics, who denounce the authenticity of the document. What do you think?
